Happy March everyone! We realize that many of you may have been too busy with ICCA Quarterfinals to realize just how awesome an opportunity it would be to compete at SMACC. In light of this, we are extending the competition submissions deadline to Monday, March 7. Remember, all you need to do to submit is post a video response to our “How To Enter” video – 3 songs max, and no, it does not have to be recorded for this specific purpose. You can use a video of your ICCA set if you competed….
There are many reasons why we love NBC’s The Sing Off. Not only has the show popularized our beloved genre of a cappella music to the rest of the world, but it also exposed us to new innovative groups that infuse their own personal twist into their music, groups like NOTA. They were the first winners of the show, and rightly so, adding a fun Latin flair to songs like Jay Sean’s “Down” (see above). The competition was fierce, and a cappella lovers everywhere sat on the edge of their seats to see who would come out on top.
Thankfully, The Sing Off has recently been renewed for another season, and who knows what new groups (and new styles) we’ll see emerge? Until then, you can catch NOTA at SMACC this April, and if you’re lucky, your group could win a master class with them!
Check out our website and register today! Also, if you’re a member of a collegiate a cappella group, submit a video for our competition!
We can’t wait to hear you gettin’ down, down, down, down, downnnnn.
We are excited to announce that the CARA nominated Red States is scheduled to perform at this year’s SMACC.

Boom boom boom.
We could not be more excited to present to you Ithacappella and Premium Blend’s version of Katy Perry’s Firework, recorded EXCLUSIVELY for The Trevor Project. All of the proceeds from the sales of this track will go directly to The Trevor Project.

Firework is about a lot of things, but most importantly it is about knowing that you can not be afraid to let what is inside of you shine through. We are honored to be able to play our very small part in letting not only teens, but everyone know that you should never be afraid to be yourself.
We hope that everyone will buy this track and enjoy it just as much as we enjoyed producing it. Huge thanks to the guys of Overboard Vocals for all of their hard work on this track and an even bigger thanks to everyone at The Trevor Project for…pretty much everything.
Check out Twitter all day today for some very special announcements from stars such as Eric Stonestreet and Jesse Tyler Ferguson of Modern Family; Diana Agron, Lea Michele, and Darren Criss of Glee; and even Miss Katy Perry herself…because we can tell you…she heard the song…and she approves. Big time.
Ignite the light.

I can honestly tell you that I purchased this song this morning and it’s been on replay ever since. A cappella for a cause. Amazing.

Meet the members of Sonos as they entrance you with their rendition of I Want You Back, originally sung by The Jackson 5.
Mind blown? Yeah, mine, too.
Can’t wait to see them at SMACC!
We are excited to announce that CARA award winning Sonos is scheduled to perform at this year’s SMACC:

Emerging in the fall of ‘09 from the college vocal scene, Sonos turned the a cappella genre on its head with bold interpretations of C21st classics. On their Verve debut “SonoSings,” the group reinvented Radiohead, Bon Iver & Fleet Foxes and dazzled with unique twists on the mainstream such as a dark, trip-hop Jackson 5 cover.
The group recently won the CASA award for the Best Pop/Rock…
